Syntech Fibres is a polypropylene yarn manufacturer specializing in custom applications. Syntech has made a commitment to serve the needs of the filtration industry with its innovative Sedifilt filter cartridge and filter yarn technology. The goal is to be a market leader in filter cartridges. Syntech offers a wide range of polypropylene filter cartridges customized to the customer’s specific requirements.

M/s Syntech Fibres (Pvt.) Ltd. was established in 1987 with the primary objective of manufacturing specialized polypropylene yarns. Syntech has since grown by finding market niches through innovative products and has established itself as the market leader in Pakistan for polypropylene yarns and downstream products such as upscale office upholstery fabrics, narrow fabrics, area rugs, filter yarns and filter cartridges.

Syntech Fibres concerns for downstream polypropylene products are met through its sister companies; Karachi Webbing Company for narrow fabrics, The Fabric Project for upholstery fabrics, and Ibex Luggage for area rugs and light luggage and hand baggage. These sister companies uphold the highest Syntech philosophy of quality and meeting specialized applications and requirements.

Syntech Fibres primarily manufactures Duralene polypropylene yarns and fibres in a variety of colours, deniers, cross sections and finishes to suit a wide range of applications. These yarns include continuous filament flat yarns, BCF yarns, air textured yarns, interlaced yarns, twisted and plied yarns, fibrillated yarns, industrial sewing yarns and cords, heat set knit-de-knit yarns, spun yarns, special effect fancy air textured yarns, filter yarn, rovings and monofilaments.

In 1997, Syntech’s expertise in polypropylene yarns enabled it to develop the 100% polypropylene Sedifilt filter cartridge and Sedifilt filter media that are superior to ordinary filtration products. Duradry, a knitted fleece fabric with outstanding wicking properties is another patent innovation.
